A Simple System. A Cleaner Standard.
To help reduce cross-contamination between different areas of your home, Innova uses a simple colour-coded cloth system.
General Cleaning Cloth
Used for general areas such as furniture, surfaces, bedrooms, living rooms and other suitable areas throughout the home.
Kitchen Cloth
Used exclusively for kitchen surfaces and food preparation areas, keeping kitchen cleaning separate from other areas of the home.
Bathroom Cloth
Used exclusively for bathroom areas to help maintain hygiene and reduce cross-contamination with other areas of the home.
Essential Equipment
🧽 Non-Scratch Sponges
Ideal for sinks, kitchen surfaces and other suitable areas where additional cleaning action is required without scratching delicate surfaces.
🧹 Scourers
Used for tougher dirt and stubborn residue on suitable surfaces. They should not be used on delicate or easily scratched materials.
🪣 Mop & Bucket
Essential for maintaining hard floors and achieving a clean, consistent finish throughout the property.
🧹 Broom
Used to remove loose dirt, crumbs and debris from hard floors before mopping.
Dustpan & Brush

Our General Cleaning service is designed to maintain your home on a regular basis, keeping the main areas clean, tidy and well presented.
During a standard cleaning visit, our operative will focus on the following areas and tasks:

A Maintenance Clean, Not a Deep Clean
General Cleaning is designed to maintain a property that receives regular cleaning. It does not include intensive or specialist cleaning tasks that require significant additional time, equipment or treatment.
Tasks such as oven deep cleaning, inside cupboards, inside fridge/freezer, carpet cleaning, upholstery cleaning, heavy limescale removal, extensive grease removal and other specialist tasks are not normally included within General Cleaning.

Our cleaner may perform a basic visual check, such as checking whether the vacuum bag appears full. If we notice something that could affect cleaning performance, we'll let you know. This does not include repairs or technical servicing.
